Babyliss Diamond Radiance Straighteners Review

As much as I'm obsessed with curling and waving wands, my most used styling tool is still my trusty straightners. While I crave thick looking voluminous curls and waves, getting my hair to actually do that takes a fair amount of effort (and luck!) For days that I want something quick and easy with minimal effort it's all about the straighteners- seeing as my hair is already straight it doesn't take much to get it looking smooth and tidy. It's mainly just a case of going through the ends and flattening down the unruly front layers around my face- as they're a bit shorter they have a tendency to flick out in whichever direction they fancy! So straighteners are definitely an essential in my haircare routine, and this gorgeous sparkly pair from Babyliss are what I'm currently using to transform my bed-head into a socially acceptable 'do every morning.

Babyliss Diamond Radiance straighteners have ceramic plates that are actually infused with real diamonds, fancy eh? But rather than simply give them an air of luxury, the diamond creates an ultra smooth surface meaning they can glide effortlessly through the hair- and oh my they really do. There's absolutely no tugging or snagging whatsoever, they feel way smoother than my GHD's plus they heat up in super quick time. There are three heat settings so are perfect for any hair thickness, and the rounded style of these makes them ideal for curling the hair too. While I've always been pretty useless at straightener curls it's still a  nice option to have, and essentially gives you two styling tools in one. Other handy features include a long three metre swivel cord and an auto shut-off feature, meaning the 'have I left my straighteners on' panics that we're all so used to are finally a thing of the past.

There are other products in the Babyliss Diamond Radiance line too, a sleek looking hairdryer and a really cool looking waving wand which I've definitely got my eye on. For such a luxe line these are all incredibly good value with no compromise on quality. If you're a fan of higher end styling tools you might dismiss Babyliss as an option, but everything I've tried from them (I currently own three different tools) are absolutely amazing and easily as good as tools you'd pay three times the price for. These straighteners are well worth their full RRP of £80- but you'll certainly not find a pair anywhere close to the quality of these at the £40 sale price, and so if you're in need of a new set now is the time to grab them!
