Hair removal is annoying, there's no two ways about it. Whether it's accidently cutting yourself with razors, chemical burns from hair removal cream or waking the dead with the screams of pain from epilating and waxing. Being your average female you can bet I've tried them all- and up until now I've never come across a method that's not messy or painful...the things we do in the name of beauty! But Pearl's hair remover works differently, and is unlike any other hair removal method I've ever tried. So how does it work?
Rather than painfully rip out hair from the root, or simply shave off the strand Pearl uses a revolutionary 'thermotransmitter' to literally weaken the follicle using heat. Not only does this cause hair to shed, but it also means that new growth is slower and finer as you have less hairs that are able to grow back. Less shaving or waxing later down the line, I don't know about you but that sounds pretty perfect to me! Heating the hair follicle might sound like a painful process, but believe it or not there's absolutely no pain, burning, stinging or itching sensation at all. To use Pearl you hold it at a ninety degree angle to your skin and drag upwards almost like a slow shaving motion, you know when you're doing it right as the LED light on the front is solid when you've got the right motion. Once you're done you use the buffing pads to remove any roughness giving you gorgeous silky smooth skin. It's painless, easy to do and fairly quick; it takes me about five minutes to do each arm and a little bit longer to do my legs. Because it's a bit more time consuming than shaving it might not be the method you'd go for if you needed to quickly get out of the door, but is perfect when you need long lasting results (and if you want less regrowth over time). Once that happens, shaving and waxing will become quicker and easier too.
I have to admit I was a bit nervous when I first had this in my hand ready to use, when someone mentions 'painless hair removal' I think your first instinct is to reply with 'yeah right!' But that's not the case with this and it doesn't hurt at all (although you can smell the singed/ burned hair after using it which is a bit weird). While I'm sure every female would be glad of having to shave or wax less often, I can imagine this would be ideal for anyone who struggles with darker hair and needs a long term fix. If you're thinking of resorting to more drastic and expensive methods like laser hair removal (or if you just want a painless and effective hair removal device) I definitely think you should give this a go first. It works so well, it's innovative and something completely different- I highly recommend it!
Does this sound like something you'd try?
