Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla Infusion

Marc Jacobs perfumes are definitely blogger cult products, and when they smell so beautiful and come in such pretty bottles it's no wonder really- I know I'm not the only one with just about every variation on my wishlist! Up until recently I'd never actually owned a bottle myself, but I now know what my collection was lacking; never have I come across a perfume that's so perfectly light and suitable for daytime wear as this. It's the type of scent that you can spray on every morning and know that it's always going to be right no matter where you're going or what you're up to.

While this perfume is called Daisy it definitely doesn't come under the 'floral' scent category- I'd describe it as as light, fruity, floral and fresh. You do get some of the floral notes but is a lot more fresh and clean smelling, so if you're not a floral perfume kind of girl don't let the name put you off. It's balanced with the vanilla and strawberry notes but isn't your typical 'sweet as sugar scent' and despite the very pretty and cutesy packaging it's something all ages could wear and really is something that most people are going to like. Saying that, after seven years (and multiple variations of this classic perfume being released) most people must like it- Marc Jacobs clearly did something right with the original! This isn't the longest lasting perfume I've tried, but is a nice one for popping into a Travalo as you can reapply without blowing anyones head off (like some more powerful perfumes can do when you spritz them in an enclosed space). With it being such a light and airy scent I wouldn't say this was a 'signature scent' kind of fragrance, however it's a lot more special that your generic fruity florals and so perfect for daily wear.

Best of all, Daisy is an absolute bargain on the Cosme-De website; not only is it £10 cheaper than you'd pay in Boots but there's free shipping on every order. They have a huge selection of beauty, hair, skin and fragrance products on the site too for much less than you'd pay elsewhere. Unlike most bargain beauty sites they're not all things that have been discontinued or 'end of line' stock either, just genuine great deals. It's definitely my new favourite beauty website, and in all honesty I'm surprised that I don't hear more about it. If you don't already own a bottle of Daisy I can't recommend it enough, and if you order from Cosme-De you'll only pay £41.
